Jake Barbabella Advances to Regionals

Northgate freshman, Jake Barbabella took 4th in the WIPAL section wrestling tournament on Saturday, February 17. He placed 6th overall in the WIPAL and moves on to the regional tournament at IUP. Congratulations Jake and good luck at the next tournament.  

Swimmers Win Against Deer Lakes, Boys Section Champs.

Last Thursday, the Boys and Girls Swim Teams completed their regular season with a section meet at Deer Lakes. Both teams were victorious with the Girls score of 82-64 and the Boys score of 89-62. For the Boy’s Team, the victory put the finishing touches on their third section championship in a row as well

Northgate Falls to Neshannock, 72-47

Northgate (3-17) lost to Neshannock (7-14) on Tuesday, February 6th by the score of 72 to 47. Malcolm Randall (Junior) paced the Flames with 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Mitch Denes (Senior) contributed 12 points on 4 three-pointers. Northgate continues section play on Thursday (2/8) against Shenango (12-7) at home.

Northgate Loses to Sewickley Academy, 59-13

Northgate (3-16) lost to Sewickley Academy (15-4) on Friday, February 2nd by the score of 59 to 13. Malcolm Randall (Junior) had 7 points for the Flames. Northgate returns to action on Tuesday (2/6) vs. Neshannock (6-14).
